TThe Power Electronics Laboratory enhances the knowledge of Undergraduate Students by providing better understanding of the concepts and working of advanced Power Semiconductor Devices and Power Electronics Circuits. The lab also facilitates faculty and students who are conducting research, theses, and industry sponsored projects in power electronic converters and electric drives in particular and electrical energy conversion in general. This Laboratory is equipped with Single Phase and Three Phase AC to DC Converters, different types of DC-DC Choppers, Single Phase AC Voltage Controllers, Cyclo-converters, Single Phase and Three Phase Inverters. It also provides experience with common components such as motors, batteries, magnetic devices, and power semiconductors.
